THE PLACE:
To the city of Carmelo, – very close to the city of Colonia del Sacramento – is up through a famous iron bridge that crosses the Arroyo de las Vacas, which makes it one of the most visited destinations in our country. If there is something that distinguish it and you can feel from the arrival to the city, is that Carmelo is one of the capitals of wine tourism in Uruguay which together with the beautiful landscapes that surround it, led it to be known as La Toscana Uruguaya.

Getting to this region and making the wine route is an almost obligatory and rewarding plan for oenophiles around the world. There are several wine companies in this area, many boutique wineries and garages that grow year by year, which are very close to each other, and invite you to spend hours touring them and enjoying excellent wines in a unique area.

We can design tailor-made tours through six wineries, all different: boutique, with accommodation, family, world-class ventures, traditional, etc. For everyone! The establishments that we can find in this area are: Campotinto, Cordano, El Legado, Zubizarreta, Irurtia and Narbona, which have come together to offer a deliciously blunt proposal. It’s easy to get around and even do a bike tour between them, which we recommend for the more adventurous ones.
